Section 3, Paragraph two
239. In the cases referred to in Paragraph 193 of this Regulation, a load raised outside the vehicle gauge shall be indicated by light-reflecting signal taps or flags (edge length 400 mm) in diagonal light stripes of day-time, with diagonally drawn white and red stripes 50 mm wide (Fig. point 6), but during the dark hours of darkness and inadequate visibility, with these light-reflecting signal plates or headlamps lit: on the front - white, on the rear - red, on the side - orange (yellow).
